This summer we got to spend a few days with the VonCanon Family in San Antonio! We had an absolute blast! It was such a treat to be with friends from NC! We stayed at the JWMarriott which is an all inclusive resort with a waterpark, spa, golf course and hiking trails and TONS of activities for the kids. Our kids participated in the rubber ducky race (below), laser tag, marshmallow roasting in the evenings and lots of time with Maggie and Morgan at the pools and slides.

| Eli won....last place!!!! And Sarah came second to last. So we let them split the last place prize, which was a stuffed longhorn, a backpack and a kite! |

| The Alamo It was so much fun to visit the Alamo and to see 100 year old walls and cool artifacts found at the battle - like guns and knives. We were all really amazed. |

| We ended the trip with a stroll down the Riverwalk. Although it was really hot in San Antonio (105), the shaded bought us a little time to see some of the restaurants, stores and attractions. |
