My friend Mariel posted this on her blog and so I had to try this with my kids! It was so much fun to see their answers! They are in order from Ellie, my 3 year old, Andrew (5), and Sarah (8).

1. What is something Mommy always says to you?
Bad choice [this is concerning her bad choices that she makes and gets spanks for!] (3), Permission to play my DS (5), Focus on your schoolwork (8)

2. What makes Mommy happy?
Flowers and butterflies [how perceptive] (3), sharing with me (5), vacations (8)

3. What makes Mommy sad?
Spankings [I always say "this makes me sad to have to spank you"] (3), Not going on vacations (5), our disobedience (8)

4.  How does Mommy make you laugh?
Toe tickles (3), Neck tickles (5), Silly songs [I have quite a number of goofy songs that I sing for my kids] (8)

5.  What was Mommy like as a child?
I don't know (3), good and obeyed your mommy (5), a tomboy (8)

6.  How old is Mommy?

7.  How tall is Mommy?
4 (3), 34 (5), 10 feet tall [hmmm maybe we should review feet and inches again in school!](8)

8.  What is Mommy's favorite thing to do?

Giving the baby a bath (3), cooking (5), catching us doing bad stuff (8) [I laughed at this because I have prayed that God would help me catch my kids in sin so I can train them in the right way!]

I will post the other 10 questions in a few days.  I learned so much from these simple questions. I think I will use this periodically - it gave me a lot of insight!
