I'm sorry I haven't posted more pictures of Eli. Life has been crazy lately, as it always is with a newborn baby. I don't even attempt a quiet time with the Lord right now. Instead I just leave my Bible open on the table and everytime I float by it, I read a snipet of the Word! God is so good! He meets me in that desperation and I always seem to place my eyes on a verse that refreshes my heart!
Eli is 1 month old now and weighs 9lb's 4oz and is 21 1/2 in long! He seems to be getting so big, so fast! Today he smiled a deliberate smile at me for the first time! Wow my heart melted! And yesterday Sarah held him until he went to sleep - it was a proud sister moment for her! She didn't know that her arms were such comforting ones!
And God has been providing an abundance of people who have been carrying the load with me. A friend has taken the kids on 2 different days for the entire day so that I could rest. My Mom-n-law hired a cleaning lady to come and clean our home. And many friends have provided delicious meals for us so that I didn't have to cook.
Bryan has been an amazing husband. After working long hours in the summer heat, he comes home and "takes over" by playing with the kids, helping me prepare dinner, and doing any other chore that still needs to be done. Many mornings I wake up to a freshly folded pile of laundry that Bryan did while I was trying to catch some shut eye!
We appreciate all your prayers and will try to post more pics soon!

Oh Jamie, I love the idea of just leaving your Bible open. That's inspiring and motivating, I'm going to go home and do the same!
